Native Roots is a family owned and operated nursery located in Clinton, NC.

We were established in 2006 with modest beginnings, growing only 2,000 one gallon native trees in our first year of operation. Fast forward to today and we have become one of the largest and most respected native nurseries in the Eastern United States. Hard work and attention to detail, has earned Native Roots a reputation for producing high quality native plants and superior customer service.

Our plants have been installed on successful mitigation, restoration, storm water, highway and reforestation projects all across the US. We offer a large and diverse selection of native trees, native shrubs and native grasses while continuing to add new native species to meet the demands of our customers. Native Roots strives to maintain high growing standards and are continually searching for innovative techniques to offer the best plants possible.
